Our History
Since “1951,” with great pride and honor, the men and women of the Montebello police force have been represented by the Montebello police officers association. Proudly serving the greater Montebello area, the Police Association represents the rank and file sergeants, corporals, officers, veterans and other non-sworn personnel.
Over the course of the last “100” years, the brave men and women of the Montebello police force have tirelessly protected the constitutional rights, safety, property, and welfare of Montebello residents and businesses alike.
Police officers, their families, and the Montebello POA are also committed to providing charitable contributions to those in our community who need our help the most. Whether through outreach programs like this, or simply volunteering their scarce free time, the “POA” is dedicated to improving our community. YOUR COMMUNITY!

The Montebello Police Officers Association was founded in 1951. The goal of the Montebello Police Officers' Association is to partner with the community and provide quality police service through community interaction, emphasizing the highest degree of cooperation, professionalism and ethical behavior, and to create an atmosphere of safety and security.
Our community policing approach helps neighborhoods keep safe by working with our police officers daily. The Montebello Police Officers' Association is active in our community and many of our members volunteer off duty and in the communities where they live.
We have proudly served the community of Montebello for the last 64 years. We are committed to not only the safety of our citizens and business but to providing charitable contributions to those in our community who need our help the most.
